Transfer Files–MAC or PC.
Before placing files on the FTP site, please follow the steps listed below.
- Intell will require all files associated with the project: fonts, layout document, high res images and if possible, items
such as Photoshop layered files. The "Collect" function in Quark or the "Package" option in Indesign is recommended. - When placing working files, a low resolution pdf file of the complete project should be included. This will be
used to print out laser proofs to verify the accuracy of our ripped files. - All files/ folders need to be placed into one folder and stuffed . Intell recommends .sit or .sitx formats. Available at
www.stuffitsoftware.com. ZIP and BIN formats are acceptable, but on occasion fonts tend to get corrupted.
PDF files can be stuffed but it is not necessary. - Please use your company name as part of the file name. Especially when using the guest site. The Stuffed file can be renamed. (It is not necessary to re-name any of the working files) For example: abc company.sit
